 | The February issue of EuropeNow is the 50th issue—a milestone. It includes a special feature on Decolonizing European Memory Cultures curated by Katrin Sieg and Hélène B. Ducros. This special feature focuses on the ways in which cultural institutions—especially museums—and practices have been fundamentally shaped by colonial and neocolonial relations. Importantly, the contributions also discuss the steps necessary to undo the institutional protocols in which racialized inequality and hierarchical relations are inscribed.
