CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

From 14-16 April 2023, exceptional undergraduate and graduate students from across the

United States, Europe, and the world, will gather at Yale University for the 7th edition of the

European Student Conference.'

The conference will draw together these young leaders and decision-makers from politics,

business, and academia to discuss new approaches to the critical challenges in transatlantic

affairs today.

In doing so, the conference will seek to empower a new generation of young transatlantic

leaders to face these challenges head on, and with the help of our guests and experts, begin to

think both freely and critically about where our world is going and what to do about it.

FORMAT

The conference will be structured around three activities:

Two Keynote Addresses

The conference will open and close with keynote addresses featuring two exceptional principals from politics and business. The addresses will seek to weave together the frames, foci, and theme of the conference into a forward-looking message for today’s emerging transatlantic leaders.

Three Panel Discussions

The focal topics of the conference will each be covered by one panel discussion that blends

perspectives across sectors and geographies. The panels will allow participants to interact directly and candidly with experts.

Three Workshops

Participants will work in groups to draft policy papers addressing key questions within the conference’s three areas of focus. Each area of focus will correspond to a workshop in which participants will benefit from the guidance and perspective of a topic expert. Groups will present their policy proposals at the conclusion of the conference.

Our model seeks to transcend physical boundaries by offering a platform to extend in-person conference content online while ensuring online-only delegates are afforded participatory and experiential spaces within the platform. Accommodation A number of rooms in different categories have been pre-booked for our conference participants. To secure the accommodation of your choice, we recommend that you submit your hotel booking as early as possible. Reservations made after March 27th will be subject to availability. Fellowships SAE-CES Pre-Dissertation Research Fellowship The Society for Anthropology of Europe (SAE) and the Council for European Studies (CES) invite eligible graduate students with a focus on European Anthropology to apply for the 2023 Anthropology of Europe Pre-Dissertation Fellowship. The SAE is the section of the American Anthropological Association that promotes the anthropological study of European societies and culture. Each fellowship includes a $5,000 stipend to fund two months' research in Europe, and travel support as well as a registration fee waiver for attending and presenting at the International Conference of Europeanists in 2024. Conference Early-Bird Registration is Now Open!

All attendees (including non-presenters and committee members) must register to attend the CES conference. 

Small associations like ours depend heavily on our members' support. Thus, our registration fee structure encourages newcomers to sign up as members here. Participants with lapsed membership can log in and renew their membership via the CES website here. To benefit from the discounted rates, CES memberships must be valid through the conference dates.

Early bird registration ends at 11:59 pm EST, April 30 2021. The final deadline for all participants to register is May 15 2021. Authors who are not registered by this date will be withdrawn from the Conference Program.

Conference: ScieConf - Submission deadline until 6 April 2018

International Scientific Conference (6th ScieConf) proposes an effective and well established presentation and publication opportunity for PhD students, young researchers and practitioners (scientists).

We invite authors of especially cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary studies to submit their paper. The whole list of discussed topics is available at web page.

Submission Procedure

Authors are invited to submit their papers before given deadline, using conference submission system. The paper must be written in English and it must be original, unpublished works considering all ethical publication standards.

The conference adopts single blind peer review process. Each submitted paper is reviewed by international Scientific and Technical Committee, which ensures the highest publishing requirements. Each paper has assigned at least 2 Reviewers.
Publication Procedure

All accepted papers will be published in:
CDROM with ISSN and ISBN
In online conference archive with ISSN and DOI.
Each paper will receive a DOI identifier as well.
ScieConf ensures archiving of published papers and online visibility - DOI and CrossMark are included.
