In this professional development webinar, Benjamin Pelletier will offer insights into the European Research Council’s (ERC) funding opportunities. The ERC is the premier European funding organization for excellent frontier research. The ERC supports investigator-driven frontier research across all disciplines. It awards research grants to scientists and scholars from all over the world, both early-career and senior researchers, carrying out their ambitious research projects across all scientific disciplines in Europe. In this webinar, CES members will learn about different ERC funding schemes, such as the ERC Starting Grant, the ERC Consolidator Grant, the ERC Advanced Grant, the ERC Proof of Concept Grant, and the ERC Synergy Grant. Speakers will also share some tips for preparing a competitive application. The webinar will be useful to post-doctoral researchers and established scholars of all disciplines and nationalities.
