The European Union Center of California at Scripps College is pleased to announce that we are now accepting online applications for the 16th Annual Claremont-UC Undergraduate Research Conference on the European Union, which will take place on April 5 & 6, 2018 on Scripps Campus in Claremont, CA.
Students may pursue a wide range of topics that reflect their interest, expertise, and past research. Topics may deal with any aspect of European integration or transatlantic relations. Papers can be about the EU, a particular country within the EU, or the EU’s relationship with outside countries.
Students will present and discuss their research in a panel format followed by questions and a discussion moderated by a faculty member. The conference will include a keynote address. At the conclusion of the conference, faculty participants will nominate and select the “best papers” of the conference. The Center will cover hotel room for 2 nights and conference meals for accepted participants. Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel.
